𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗺, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
More than 43,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including 10,000 children, now live with life changing injuries as one of the countless human consequences of the ongoing Israeli genocide against our people. Not a single rehabilitation facility in Gaza remains fully operational, while eighteen shipments of prosthetics, wheelchairs, rehabilitation equipment, and lifesaving mobility supplies remain deliberately blocked by the genocidal state of Israel from reaching our people in the besieged, genocide-ravaged Strip.
Dimitri Diliani, spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, declared:
“The Israeli genocidal army is engineering permanent physical destruction on a national scale. More than 22,000 Palestinians have suffered catastrophic limb injuries. More than 5,000 have endured traumatic amputations. More than 2,000 have sustained spinal cord injuries. Out of approximately 2,300 amputees, only 500 have received permanent prosthetics.
Diliani added: ““The Israeli genocide extends far beyond the indiscriminate bombing of homes, hospitals, schools, and refugee shelters. It deprives our wounded of treatment, amputees of prosthetic limbs, injured children of spinal rehabilitation, and critically wounded patients of medical evacuation. It leaves its genocide survivors trapped inside shattered hospitals stripped of medicine, equipment, and the most basic conditions for recovery. The Israeli occupation is weaponizing disability itself as a tool of colonial domination.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction affirms that the silence of governments, institutions, and international legal bodies in the face of this deliberate mass disablement is active complicity in genocide. We will continue documenting every mutilated body, every amputated limb, every shattered spine, and every blocked shipment until those responsible for this genocidal machinery stand before justice, and until our people reclaim not only survival, but dignity, mobility, and freedom.
