Amman, Jordan (July 2026) – Run Jordan has announced the opening of registration for the Madaba Mosaic Race 2026, starting on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Greater Madaba Municipality. Registration will also remain available online through Run Jordan’s official website, as well as at the Run Jordan office in Amman.
Run Jordan confirmed that the Madaba Mosaic Race, scheduled to take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Firas bin Raad, Chairman of the Board of Directors mof Run Jordan, continues to attract interest from runners and sports enthusiasts for offering a unique experience that combines sport, tourism, and history in Madaba, one of Jordan’s most prominent heritage destinations.
The race will feature two distances: 10 km and 5 km. The 10 km race will start from Mount Nebo, while the 5 km race will begin in the Al Faisaliah area, with both races finishing at the Madaba Visitor Center.
As part of its efforts to enhance participants’ experience, Run Jordan announced that all participants registered in the 10 km race will have the opportunity to visit Mount Nebo free of charge on race day. Participants must arrive at the site no later than 7:00 AM to enjoy one of Jordan’s most significant historical and religious landmarks before the race begins.
Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, stated that opening the registration office in Madaba aims to facilitate participation for residents of the governorate and interested runners from across different areas. She noted that the growing interest in the race reflects the increasing appeal of events that bring together sport, culture, and tourism.
El Kurd added that the Madaba Mosaic Race represents an important milestone in Run Jordan’s journey to expand its race calendar across the Kingdom and strengthen Jordan’s position as a sports tourism destination. She invited all runners to register early and prepare for a unique experience unlike any other.
